About Toluca Baseball

Since its humble beginnings in 1952, Toluca Baseball has become one of the top youth baseball programs in Southern California and is widely recognized for its reputation of balancing a competitive environment with a culture of support for its players’ enjoyment of the game. It is the oldest youth baseball league in the San Fernando Valley and has served approximately 25,000 kids in the past 60 years, producing major leaguers, collegiate scholar-athletes, and community leaders who learned the value of teamwork and have applied it to successful careers as adults, coaches, and parents.

In partnership with the City of Los Angeles’ Recreation and Parks Department, we utilize baseball diamonds located at North Weddington Park and South Weddington Park, both located in Studio City, as well as Valley Plaza Park located in North Hollywood. Toluca Baseball is proud that its meticulously maintained fields—including grass infields—are among the best in L.A. County.

Toluca Baseball consists of four competitive divisions for boys and girls aged 5-12. In addition to a regular spring baseball season, Toluca Baseball offers its kids a less competitive 10-week developmental league in the fall. Also, an introductory program for four-year-olds is offered in both spring and fall on Sunday afternoons at South Weddington Park.

As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, Toluca Baseball is a full service, all-volunteer league. In addition to support from the City of Los Angeles and its dedicated team of volunteers, Toluca Baseball thrives because of the generosity of sponsors and community leaders helping us maintain our fields and accommodate hundreds of kids from throughout the region seeking a positive baseball experience.
